HELPING KIDS

Rewrite their Stories - One Tap at a Time

It’s Heartbreaking to See Your Child Struggle. You’re Not Alone.

I help sensitive, overwhelmed kids manage big feelings like anxiety and anger, and build lasting self-esteem through gentle, play-based EFT Tapping and NLP.

About Me

For years in the classroom, I saw a common thread: bright, wonderful children held back by anxiety, overwhelm, and a lack of self-belief. I knew I wanted to do more than just teach curriculum; I wanted to give them the tools to navigate their inner world. That’s what led me to specialize in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).
Now, with over 5 years of experience supporting children (including those with autism and ADHD).

I am dedicated to helping kids navigate their biggest challenges:

  • Big Feelings: Managing anxiety, anger, and overwhelm.
  • Life Changes: Adapting to new siblings, moving house, and other big transitions.

  • School Challenges: Building focus, navigating friendships, and growing confidence.

HAVE QUESTIONS?

Frequently Asked Questions

What are NLP and EFT?

NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is like a user manual for the brain. It helps children understand how their thoughts and words affect their feelings, allowing them to “rewire” unhelpful patterns into positive ones.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) often called “tapping,” is a gentle method where children tap on acupressure points on their body. This helps calm the nervous system, reducing the intensity of big feelings like anxiety and anger. It’s a powerful tool that feels like a game to kids.

How can these techniques help my child?

I use child-friendly NLP and EFT to help your child:

  • Manage anxiety, worry, and overwhelming emotions.
  • Build confidence and self-esteem.
  • Improve focus and navigate social situations.
  • Cope with changes like a new school or a new sibling.
  • Develop resilience and emotional tools they can use for life.
Are these sessions suitable for children with Autism or ADHD?

Absolutely. My approach is highly adaptable and sensory-friendly. I have over 5 years of experience working with neurodiverse children in schools. Sessions are play-based and tailored to your child’s unique communication style, interests, and energy levels.

What does a typical session look like?

Sessions are never one-size-fits-all! We might use stories, drawings, puppets, or games. For example, we could use a “worry monster” puppet to talk about fears and then use gentle tapping (EFT) to calm the worry. It’s a supportive and often fun space where your child feels safe to explore their feelings.

How many sessions will my child need?

This depends entirely on your child and their goals. Some children see significant shifts in 4-6 sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. We will discuss a personalized plan after our initial consultation and check in regularly on their progress.

What are your qualifications and experience?

I am a certified NLP and EFT Practitioner. I also have over 5 years of hands-on experience working directly with children, including those with autism and ADHD, in a school setting. This practical experience is invaluable in connecting with and helping children effectively
